India Sees Highest Jump of 57,000+ Coronavirus Cases as Tally Nears 17 Lakh, Death Toll Climbs to 36,511

The recovery rate among COVID-19 patients was recorded at 64.53 per cent, while the fatality rate further dropped to 2.15 per cent, the data stated. This is the third consecutive day that COVID-19 cases have increased by more than 50,000. The total number of confirmed cases also includes foreigners.
